Our Story

Based primarily in Melbourne, Australia, Hamish is an experienced and passionate, gaffer and lighting technician. On their days off, you can find them exploring the wild with their trusty kelpie dog camping, climbing and capturing nature via landscape photography.

Inclusive and diverse filmmaking is at the forefront of their mind when bringing together a team for any project Hamish works on. Hamish is passionate about creating and supporting safe, progressive and supportive workplaces and is always open for a discussion on how this can be achieved for the workplace. Recently, Hamish has gaffered on feature films Strange Creatures, My Melbourne as well as on webseries VIdeoland and Urvi Went to an All Girls School as well as TVC, commercial and content projects. 

​

Hamish is attached as gaffer to upcoming projects 'The Unsaid  Says a lot' a Trans and Gender Diverse awareness campaign for the Department of Family, Fairness and Housing and 'Pasa Faho', a feature film supported by VicScreen's Originate Features initiative.
